What we keep, and why.
Last updated October 1, 2026
Puesto Fijo is a preview of a live-stall marketplace in Los Ángeles. Demo stalls accept no payments. Approved vendors can offer paid pickup once the operator enables the pilot.
If you join the waitlist
- What: your email, whether you signed up to eat, run a stall, or host a window, and the neighborhood if you gave one.
- Why: to tell you when Puesto Fijo opens near you, and to decide which corridor opens first. If you said you run a stall or would host, we may write to ask whether you’d like to take part in an early test.
- How long: until launch in your area, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.
If you reserve a plate
- What: your pickup name and email, basket, dated pickup window, location, order status, payment references and a short pickup code. Stripe hosts card entry; Puesto Fijo does not store card numbers. A keyed hash of your email measures repeat pickup without placing your email in analytics reports.
- Who sees it: the stall and the person running its window, so they can hand the plate to the right person. Other visitors only see that a slot is taken — never your name or code.
If you open a stall
- What: the stall name, host name, menu and prices you enter, which are public on the stall page, and a private stall key.
- On your device: the stall key is saved in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in to your stall. Clearing your browser data removes it. Verified email recovery replaces the key. We also keep your vendor contact email, permit details and payout account reference. Pickup staff links expire after 12 hours.
Saved tickets and stalls
My Puesto stores recent ticket links and favorite stalls in local storage on your device. Clear browser storage to remove them. Anyone with a private ticket link can view or cancel that reservation; keep it private.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and clicks on buttons like “Watch” and “Join the waitlist.” Ticket, vendor, staff, recovery and saved-ticket pages are excluded from analytics so private access links are not transmitted.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
- We don’t send marketing email beyond the launch notice you asked for.
- Card details are entered directly in Stripe-hosted checkout. Puesto Fijo keeps transaction identifiers for settlement and support.
Who stores it
The site runs on Vercel, and its data is kept in a Neon Postgres database in the United States. Stripe processes payments and vendor verification. Resend sends receipts, pickup updates and access links. Cloudflare Stream carries optional live video; recording is disabled by the application. Each service processes the information needed for that function.
Your choices
Email support@puestofijo.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We’ll do it and confirm within 30 days. California residents have these rights under the CCPA, and we extend them to everyone.
Children
Puesto Fijo is not meant for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
This page will change when data practices change. The operator must finalize retention periods and required notices before enabling paid launch. Transaction records needed for accounting, disputes or legal obligations may be retained after a deletion request.
